In the research field, students participate during their master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in a research course, whereby the two most promising (innovative) ideas are selected for a one-month research stay in one of the Latin American partner countries.

We develop the ability to turn challenges and problems into opportunities, through strategies that generate value and transform the environment. Hundreds of students from our School have received support from the Entrepreneurship Center or have participated in entrepreneurship activities and contests; which has led to the development of more than 160 companies created by students of the School of Administration.

Research at the National Technical University is characterized by privileging innovation, knowledge development and the transfer of quality products, in correspondence with the needs and demands of the productive and organizational sectors at the national level in their respective environments. An important element of the type of research with UTN, is that it is built as an academic practice from the perspective of applied research, governed by three policies that are currently promoted, and which are mentioned below:

The research activities carried out within the International SEPT Competence Center of Leipzig University have a strong focus on International Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and University Business Linkages.

More than ever, entrepreneurial competitiveness in both industrialized as well as developing and emerging countries depends on the ability to rapidly leverage new technologies and modern organizational structures for change that fits the dynamics business environment.
